Dixie’s point of view

Hi, my name is Dixie.

Hi, my name is Dixie.

Let me introduce myself!

Hi, my name is Dixie and I am a 6 year old, 6 pound, full of energy Yorkie and I was rescued by my Mommy a few days before Thanksgiving in 2013.

OMG, on the day she took me home, the first stop we made was a visit to a guy in a white coat. He gave me those painful shots before we went home. As we got home she actually forced me to take a bath, in water which I don’t like. She told me I did not smell good. I also had to face that loud thing she called a dryer to dry my very short fur coat I had. She said it had to be cut because it was a matted mess.

The day mommy took me home changed how I think about the two legged dogs. First I was very shy and never would have anything to do with them, but now I am realizing they are great to cuddle and to hang out with, but more about me later…

Dixie’s point of view

February is still cold, wet, windy, and over all nasty. When you have animals you keep outside make sure you keep them warm and toasty as you do yourself. With a cozy and dry shelter, liquid (not frozen) water, and fresh food.

When you are freezing they also freeze.
