Mom, take a break

Moms are the ones who consider everyone else before themselves. Start the year out right by putting yourself first for a change. There is nothing wrong with you taking a break and asking other family members for help by asking them to take care of things for a couple of days.

relaxYes. We hate to leave the kids with someone else but what good will we do when we are getting sick and cranky from all the built-up stress from the holidays.

When you prefer to be only a few hours away from the kids, consider a 30 to 45 minute massage or spa treatment, 1 hour yoga class, or just 45 minutes in the gym.

Do something you normally never would do for yourself. Treat yourself to something special.

Another idea is that you could hire a house cleaner just once a month to have them clean the house for you while you put your feet up and read a good book..
