Just a quick getaway

After the Holidays many of us are ready to relax and maybe even to get away. For some of us the price tag for a tropical get away or cruise might be too much after spending for gifts for the holidays.

When money is tight consider a short trip and make a long weekend getaway within an hour drive from home. There are many reasonably priced one tank trips from home. Believe it or not, in the winter and just about an hour from Indianapolis, I could strap on my skies for a long weekend on the slopes.

When skiing is not your cup of tea, just a few minutes south of the ski slopes is a great place you can enjoy a relaxing and full pampering spa weekend.

I am sure when you look around within your state or close to home you will find some of the little hidden gems that will take you away from the hustle and bustle, even for one or two days. You don’t have to travel far just get away.
