KEEP IN MIND, DORM ROOMS ARE TINY
Our senior has finally graduated High school and sometimes we are not sure how they made it but are glad they did. Most of us still have at least 4 to 6 weeks before the family vehicle is being filled with our graduate’s things to move to their dorm on campus.
Many of the schools gave you a freshman package check list containing a list of items they think a freshman will need when moving into the dorm. Keep in mind that the dorm room is not your house. Some things may need to be kept in another room or stored away because many times the dorm room is shared with another room mate who also brings their entire bedroom with them as well.
You might contact the school and find out who the roommate is and ask the school if they could give your information to the roommate and have the roommate contact you to organize from the start who is bringing what. It would be silly when you by a printer when the roommate already is planning to bring theirs. Just make sure you bring printer cartridges and extra paper to share the cost of usage.
Keep in mind…no matter how hard we all try not to forget something….we will.
