The manager is here to make sure they do what they suppose to do.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">The efficient manager makes effective use of material and resources given to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Here are some trades a good manager will have<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\"><strong>Planning<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Plan the day, week, month <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Put the right people in the right place to be more efficient <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Look at all the probable scenarios <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Figure out the worst possible scenario <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Looking at available resources <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Compare strengths and weaknesses of individuals <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\"><strong>Organized<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Prepared the group and make them part of the plan <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Is everybody trained? <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Are the other departments ready <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Is the work force motivated? <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Is the right material ordered? <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Is the equipment ready? <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Are spare parts available for the equipment? <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Does everybody understand their roll? <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\"><strong>Direct the teams<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\"><strong>Monitor the output<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Watch and make certain everything goes to plan <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Direct and organize people when something is out of sync <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">Be aware of outside forces that might will influence the plan&#8217;s outcome <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\"><strong>What is the difference between a Leader and a Manager?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\"><strong><em>A leader can be a manager, but not every manager is a good leader (don&#8217;t ask me where I read this)<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: small\">A manager monitors the output and the productivity of the team there are responsible for.
